Cross-border
Cross-border vehicles hold Hong Kong and Mainland registrations and can travel directly between them through land crossings. Flying Eagle Coach Company provides cross-border hire and cross-border coaches services in 7-seaters, 16-seat minibuses and 45/49-seat coaches, picking up anywhere in Hong Kong for door-to-door travel to Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Dongguan, Foshan, Zhongshan and other Pearl River Delta cities, without changing vehicles at the border.
Whether for business, visiting family, company study tours, cross-border weddings or Shenzhen Airport, chartered transport coordinates several passengers, luggage items and locations together. For Hong Kong-only activities, see Local coach hire or Hong Kong coach hire services .
Fleet
All cross-border vehicles have valid registrations for both jurisdictions and undergo regular maintenance. Choose according to passengers and luggage:
| Vehicle type | Suggested group size | Luggage | Suitable journeys |
|---|---|---|---|
| 7-seater MPV | 1–6 passengers | Approximately 4–5 medium suitcases | Business, families and airport transfers |
| 16-seat cross-border minibus | Approximately 7–16 passengers | Luggage space available | Department travel, family gatherings and small groups |
| 45/49-seat cross-border coach | Approximately 17–49 passengers | Separate luggage compartment | Company team-building, study visits and tour groups |
A common cross-border option for business travellers, small families and colleagues. Spacious interiors offer leather seats, individual air-conditioning and USB charging, suited to luggage on airport or Mainland hotel trips. See Fleet photographs for 7-seater and Alphard exteriors and interiors.
Suitable for a dozen or so colleagues, relatives or friends. The medium-sized vehicle includes luggage space and keeps the whole group together, making coordination easier than separate public-transport journeys.
These suit team-building, factory visits, exhibition trips and tours. They have separate luggage compartments, air-conditioning, microphones and audiovisual facilities for longer journeys. Where a group has local and cross-border stages, combine them with local coaches in one arrangement.

Routes
Shenzhen is the most popular destination. Flying Eagle serves Futian, Luohu, Nanshan, Shekou, Bao’an, Longhua, Longgang and Shenzhen Airport from Hong Kong districts. Whether for meetings, shopping or connecting to a Mainland train or flight, the vehicle can take you directly to your destination.
Guangzhou is Guangdong’s capital and a southern China business centre. Direct hire serves Tianhe, Baiyun, Panyu, Nansha, Huadu and other areas for meetings, exhibitions and purchasing trips. Groups can use 45/49-seat coaches.
The Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge reaches urban Zhuhai, Gongbei and Hengqin, as well as Zhongshan and Jiangmen on the Pearl River’s west bank, reducing detours through Shenzhen. It operates 24 hours. Enquire about Hong Kong–Macao transfers too.
Coverage also includes Dongguan, Foshan, Huizhou, Zhaoqing and other Pearl River Delta cities for factory inspections and business visits. Multiple Mainland stops are quoted by itinerary. See complete cross-border charter guide .
Control points
Hong Kong has six road boundary control points, including Shenzhen Bay, Huanggang, Man Kam To, Sha Tau Kok, the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge and Heung Yuen Wai. Drivers recommend a crossing according to destination, departure time and traffic. Common passenger clearance hours are:
| Crossing | Opening hours | Suitable destinations |
|---|---|---|
| New Huanggang Port | 24 hours | Futian and central Shenzhen; late-night or early-morning travel |
| Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge | 24 hours | Zhuhai, Macao, Zhongshan and Jiangmen |
| Shenzhen Bay Port | 06:30–24:00 | Nanshan, Shekou, Qianhai and Bao’an in Shenzhen |
| Liantang Port (Heung Yuen Wai) | 07:00–22:00 | Eastern Shenzhen and Huizhou |
| Man Kam To | 07:00–22:00 | Luohu, Shenzhen |
The rebuilt Huanggang Port opened at 06:30 on 12 October 2026 with 24-hour operation; Lok Ma Chau passenger clearance was suspended at the same time. Around 2 km from central Futian, it is a common choice for late-night, early-morning or central Shenzhen journeys.
The 55 km bridge system comprises a 12 km Hong Kong Link Road, 29.6 km main bridge and 13.4 km Zhuhai Link Road. The Hong Kong-to-Zhuhai/Macao port journey is approximately 42 km, with 24-hour clearance. There are no U-turns, petrol stations or toilets en route, so plan ahead.
Shenzhen Bay uses a co-location arrangement, with both jurisdictions’ formalities in one passenger terminal. Passenger clearance is 06:30–24:00, suited to western Shenzhen, Nanshan technology parks, Shekou and Qianhai.
Liantang is in Luohu, Shenzhen, opposite Hong Kong’s Heung Yuen Wai Control Point. Hours are 07:00–22:00, convenient for eastern Shenzhen and Huizhou.
Man Kam To connects to Luohu and operates 07:00–22:00.
