Seating capacity directly affects coach prices. Flying Eagle’s local fleet includes 7-seaters, Mercedes-Benz, 16-seat minibuses, 24/28-seat, 45-seat and 60-seat coaches. The list groups coaches into 24/28 and 45/60-seat price bands: 24 and 28 seats cost the same; 45 and 60 seats cost the same . Starting fares appear below, followed by uses and full charges for each size.

16 seats
16-seat minibuses: small groups and cross-border trips
16-seat minibus Smaller than a coach, they suit a dozen or so passengers and access estates, narrow roads and hotel driveways more easily. Uses include families, wedding parties, small departments, airports and cross-border journeys.
Uses for a 16-seat minibus
- Wedding party : around a dozen passengers moving between the groom’s home, bride’s home and ceremony.
- Family gatherings : several families travel together in one vehicle.
- Small business groups : overseas visitor reception or department visits.

16-seat minibus prices
16-seat minibus local fares are not published in the price list . Provide dates, times, passengers and itinerary for a quotation. Above 16 passengers, consider 24/28 seats at $500 urban Kowloon one way or $320/hour urban hire.
24 / 28 seats
24-seat and 28-seat coaches: common medium-group choices
24 seats and 28-seat coach are among Hong Kong’s most common smaller coach sizes, with shorter bodies aiding countryside, estate and narrow-road access. Both sizes cost exactly the same, so a suitable group gets four extra places in a 28-seater without paying more.

45 seats
45-seat coaches: popular for school and company outings
45-seat coach For around 29–45 passengers, popular with schools, companies, tours and religious groups. Medium/large coaches have luggage compartments, air-conditioning and microphones, with audiovisual equipment on some models for longer journeys.

One 45-seater or two 28-seaters?
For 40 passengers, one 45-seat urban Kowloon journey is $700; two 28-seaters cost $500 × 2 = $1,000. One larger vehicle is cheaper and easier to coordinate. Consider two smaller vehicles only for narrow access that large coaches cannot use.
60 seats
60-seat coaches: value for large groups
60-seat coach are the largest in Flying Eagle’s local fleet, suited to around 46–60 people, combined school classes, company anniversaries and wedding departures. Some have 3+2 seating and large luggage compartments.
Why are 60 seats good value?
They share the 45-seat band. At $700 urban Kowloon one way, 55 people in a 60-seater pay around $12.7 each, compared with $17.5 for 40 people in a 45-seater. 60 seats suit groups of 46–60.

Need 65 seats? Options for groups above 60
Some operators offer 65-seat coaches, but Flying Eagle’s largest local coach has 60 seats . Larger groups may use the following combinations at estimated urban Kowloon one-way fares:

Upgrading within a band costs nothing. Crossing bands, such as 28 to 45 seats, adds only $200 one way while providing 17 more seats and substantially more luggage space.

Teachers, leaders, photographers and make-up artists all need seats.
2. Choose the larger same-priced vehicle
24/28 and 45/60 share respective rates. Near capacity, choose the larger option.
3. Upgrade for luggage
45/60-seat luggage compartments are useful for airport groups and event equipment.
4. Check destination roads
Some countryside, estate and narrow roads cannot accommodate large coaches. Give the exact address so customer service can recommend a vehicle and boarding point.
5. Allow more space for longer trips
For full-day or long journeys, extra seating room improves comfort.
