Step 1: prepare the itinerary
Write down when to meet, how many locations to visit, how long to stay at each and when the event ends. List every address on multi-stop journeys, as this directly affects whether one-way or hourly pricing is appropriate.
Step 2: choose a vehicle and hire option
Choose seating for the total group: 1–6 people in a 7-seater; approximately 7–16 in a 16-seater; 17–28 in a 24/28-seater; 29–45 in a 45-seater; and 46–60 in a 60-seater. 24 and 28 seats cost the same, as do 45 and 60 seats. See coach seating guide .
Step 3: request a quotation
Office hours are Monday–Saturday, 09:00–18:00. Email enquiries are normally answered within one working day. The office is closed Sundays and public holidays, but WhatsApp and email enquiries are still handled.
Step 4: check the quotation

Step 5: confirm the booking
Once confirmed, we reserve the vehicle and driver. Cancellation within 24 hours is non-refundable.
Step 6: confirm details before use
Finalise passenger numbers. Notify us early of changes so the vehicle type or number of vehicles can be adjusted.
Step 7: travel and pay
The driver waits at the agreed time and place for up to 15 minutes; exceeding this is charged as 1 hour. Pay by cash in HKD/RMB, cheque, bank transfer, PayMe, FPS, WeChat Pay or Alipay. Corporate clients may apply for monthly billing.

One-way fare = area price (including Cross-Harbour Tunnel and bridge tolls) + location supplements + alternative tunnel supplements
Example: a 28-seat coach from Kowloon to Tai Mong Tsai, Sai Kung, via Tai Lam Tunnel: $700 + $50 + $120 = $870.
Hourly quotation formula
Hourly fare = hourly rate × hours + overtime + extra stops + actual tunnel and parking charges
Example: a 45-seat urban coach for 5 hours with one additional stop: $380 × 5 + $100 = $2,000, plus tunnel and parking charges.

Red flag 1: a total with no breakdown
Ask for tunnel, overtime, waiting and extra-stop charges; otherwise comparison is difficult.

Red flag 3: refusal to explain cancellation terms

Countryside and closed roads
Some rural roads are closed roads or too narrow for large coaches. Provide the precise address so we can check accessibility and a suitable vehicle.
Urban boarding and alighting
Boarding and alighting must comply with traffic rules. Busy roads may not permit stopping. Confirm the transfer point beforehand and tell all participants.
Airport and piers
Provide flight details for airport transfers. Coordinate pier transfers with sailing times and allow a buffer.
Between booking confirmation and the day of travel
- Send the meeting time and place to every participant.
- Appoint one coordinator to contact the driver and check attendance.

Can the itinerary be changed after confirmation?
Contact customer service. Extra hours, locations or vehicles require a revised quotation; earlier notice makes arrangements easier.
Are cancellations refundable?
No refund is given for cancellation within 24 hours.
Can coaches reach every countryside location?
Some rural roads are closed or unsuitable for large coaches. Provide an exact address when booking so we can confirm the route and vehicle.
How can I identify a licensed coach company?
Hong Kong coach operators must hold a Passenger Service Licence issued by the Commissioner for Transport under section 27 of the Road Traffic Ordinance (Cap. 374). Each vehicle must also carry a Passenger Service Licence Certificate.
How are staff shuttles quoted?
Regular staff shuttles are usually quoted monthly or by contract and must operate according to particulars approved by the Commissioner for Transport. Provide routes, frequency, stops and expected passengers.
How are cross-border journeys quoted?
Cross-border vehicles are required. One-way urban Kowloon/Hong Kong Island to Shenzhen Airport starts at $1,100 for a 7-seater, $1,500 for 16 seats and $2,000 for 45/49 seats. Other Mainland cities are quoted by itinerary.
Do drivers speak English and Mandarin?
Flying Eagle drivers speak Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
What happens during typhoon signal No. 8 or Black Rainstorm Warning?
If the Observatory issues tropical cyclone warning signal No. 8 or above, or a Black Rainstorm Warning, the itinerary may need adjustment for safety. Confirm the specific arrangements when booking.
How can coach hire be paid for?
Cash in HKD/RMB, cheque, bank transfer, PayMe, FPS, WeChat Pay and Alipay are accepted. Corporate clients may apply for monthly billing.
